Setting up a license server for my own college or department

We currently have several ESRI license servers at the University of Washington. These are available to any users who have UW IP addresses on their computers (this means any computer on any UW campus or any remote site where the network is managed by UW C&C).

License service has been up more than 99.9% of the time over the last 5 years using this set of servers.

For this reason we do not support individual units managing their own license servers except under special circumstances to be determined on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you still need to run your own license server, send a message to esri@u.washington.edu explaining your circumstances and your request will be reviewed.
