Here you will find information on the University's site license for Site licensed ESRI software.

• How the site license works:

The site license allows Site licensed ESRI software to be used only on University equipment, and on University-related non-commercial projects.

This means that:

• Site licensed ESRI software cannot be installed on non-UW owned computers, including student, faculty, or staff owned computers.
• Site licensed ESRI software cannot be used for any project that generates a profit.
• Site licensed ESRI software cannot be used for any project that is not related to UW coursework, management, or research.
• Site licensed ESRI software cannot be used for any project which competes in any way with private sector activities.
