Updating your ERDAS/Imagine license client

This assumes you already have ERDAS/Imagine installed, and were running without problems earlier, while using sde.gis.washington.edu as a license server.

This page is not intended to support installation of ERDAS/Imagine; it is assumed that you can figure this out on your own. The only information you will need is that the license server for the UW domain is license.gis.washington.edu. To install the software, you will need the ISO files.

To specify the license server, open the License Management shortcut (Start > Leica Geosystems > Licensing Tools > License Management).

In the System tab, click Add.

Click the radio button for License server information.

For the license Server Name enter license.gis.washington.edu, then click OK.

Click OK again and verify that license.gis.washington.edu is listed under License Source(s) then select the Module Information tab.

The Module Information Status will indicate that license modules are being loaded.

The Module Information tab will show which products are licensed and in use.

Imagine should start when the license server is correctly specified.
