Download this Excel spreadsheet (called points.exe,
stored as a self-extracting
zip file). Once you have the file, double-click the file name in the
Windows Explorer. This will extract the spreadsheet and allow you to open
it in Excel.
[Hint: you cannot load an Excel spreadsheet directly into ArcView
3.x; you will need to perform some type of file conversion. What types of
files can you load as tables into ArcView 3.x? See notes on the Relational
Database Model if you do not remember.]
Create a view that contains these points and the Pack Forest boundary.
Use one of the ESRI TrueType fonts to display the point markers (do not
use a simple point marker, but use one that is more interesting).
Paste a screen capture or an exported graphic of this view into your answers.
