MOSS to Shapefile

The MOSS to Shapefile converter converts a MOSS file to a shapefile.

From the menu, select Convert MOSS to Shapefile.

A dialog will open that will allow you to select the input MOSS file. Note that files must have the extension mos to be listed in the directory.

Select the input feature type. You will need to know in advance what feature type your MOSS file represents. The process will run in any case, but your output shapefile may be nonsense. If you do not know the feature type, you can guess, and if the output shapefile does not look like what you expect, try a different feature type.

Name the output shapefile, then click OK.

The process will proceed and eventually finish. You will see a status bar as the process runs. When the process is complete, the new theme will be added to your view.
